Gold Ridge Organic Farms is located 50 miles northwest of San Francisco in the rolling hills of Sebastopol, where coastal breezes & optimal soils provide ideal growing conditions for 88 acres of olives & apples.
Farmer Brooke Hazen grows our CCOF Certified Organic olives using organic farming methods and then within hours of harvest makes them into four distinct olive oils in our onsite mill.
We are small farmers and stewards of the land. We pride ourselves in creating farm to table oils that are high in healthy antioxidants and polyphenols and are also delicious. Please enjoy them!

The Arbequina Blend shows floral aromas, fennel and hints of green pineapple. The beautiful buttery texture is typical of Arbequina oils and this harvest has flavors of green banana, stone fruit and green almond. Very little bitterness and lightly robust with a touch of spice on the finish. Delicious in salad dressings and marinades. Pair with balsamic or apple cider vinegar and drizzle over grilled veggies or fresh cheeses.
The Tuscan Blend is bright and attractive and shows aromas of freshly cut hay with hints of Herbes de Provence. Flavors of green apple, fresh pine nut and a hint of green almond. Medium bodied with a light spicy finish. This is a perfectly versatile oil that can easily sautee, finish a dish or bring special flavors to your vinaigrette. A favorite kitchen staple for many esteemed chefs in San Francisco and the Bay Area.
The Minerva Blend is sultry and woody with subtle aromatic hints of delicate fig and raw walnut. An Italian blend and a foodie favorite. Flavors of toasted walnut, matcha green tea and a bright white pepper finish. Medium bodied and medium spicy. High in antioxidants, this is a great finishing and dipping oil that will bring complex flavors to grilled or raw veggies, hummus, tapenade, cured meats. Pair with pastas, pesto or enjoy in salads for an extra lift of flavor.
The Picholine is our French blend and it shows bright aromas of wheatgrass, matcha green tea and lemon citrus. Flavors include fresh grass, hint of artichoke and arugula on the finish. Medium pungent and medium robust. Picholine shines as a dipping and finishing oil and is also a great addition to a pesto or chimichurri sauce. Drizzle on pasta, hard cheeses and charcuterie to add interest. Picholine has a following with many who enjoy the green flavors in olive oil. Very high in polyphenols and antioxidants.
Gold Ridge Organic Farms produces three estate citrus olive oils: Meyer Lemon, Mandarin-Kumquat, and now Yuzu. The Meyer Lemon is a cross between a citron and mandarin pomelo, and the flavor is sweeter and more floral than the more common Eureka lemon. The mandarinquat, or mandarin-kumquat, is a hybrid of the Satsuma mandarin and the kumquat, resulting in delicatlely sweet-tart orange flavors. Yuzu is a subspecies of the mandarin orange and ichang papeda, with delicate floral aromas and flavors of mandarin and grapefruit with hints of lime.
Our citrus olive oils are made using traditional methods, with peak-season whole fruit, co-milled at the same time as the Arbequina blend of olives. The essential oils form the citrus rind are infused with the buttery texture and notes of Arbequina. The result is three distinct, bright and refreshing olives oils that can be used to finish grilled vegetables, poultry, and fish, and in salads, sauces (especially pesto or salsa verde), and dips. Delicious drizzled over fresh cheese, yogurt, and even ice cream.
Gold Ridge Organic Farms Apple Cider Balsamic Vinegar is a modern balsamic vinegar: a delicious union of heirloom apples and barrel-aged apple cider vinegar. The concentrated flavors are rich yet balanced by crisp acidity. Apple Balsamic Vinegar pairs perfectly with our Estate Organic California Extra Virgin Olive Oils and Citrus olive oils to make a special vinaigrette, marinade, or dipping sauce..
