Farmer Brooke Hazen grows our CCOF Certified Organic olives using organic farming methods and then within hours of harvest makes them into four distinct olive oils in our onsite mill.

Gold Ridge Organic Farms Picholine is our French blend of Organic California Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Beloved of culinary connoiseurs, this blend of French olive cultivars producsed our most robust and pungent olive oil. Take a deep whiff of fresh wheatgrass and green tea, then savor notes of arugula, artichoke, and fresh green herbs stretching out into a long finish and a slow burn of wasabi and daikon radish heat. Chefs love its bold, spicy flavor profile. Picholine shines as a finishing oil and pairs beautifully with strong, hard cheeses like Parmigiano Reggiano. Also perfect for pesto, Italian salsa verde, and drizzled over pasta. Medium pungent, medium robust.
Made with primarily Picholine olives with a small amount of Aglandau, Bouteillian, Solonenque, Grossane, and Cayon.
The Picholine blend is grown and milled into oil on our farm in Sonoma County. It is made with our CCOF Certified Organic Olives. We now present our gallons in an eco-friendly tin format in order to lower the chance of oxidation while you enjoy your oil. The top plastic piece pulls out to form a pour spout for easy use. Our goal is to help maintain the flavors and nutritional benefits in our oils while you use them and therefore improve your experience. Always store your oils in a cool, dark place. For ideal freshness, we recommend using it within 3-6 months once opened.
